The Princess

and

the Ogre

Once upon a time there were two sisters. They lived in a village called Tiddly Town. The one girl called Rebecca had short dark blonde hair and turquoise eyes. The second girl called Rachel had long dark hair and green eyes. Both girls loved going down to the big open field to play together.

In the field there was an old rusted barn next to the river that ran between that field and the next - crossing over the river was a rickety wooden bridge with planks of wood which had fallen over the years.

One hot summer’s day, Rachel and Rebecca were down in the field playing frisbee. They were throwing it to one another when Rebecca accidently threw it into a bush on the other side of the river. So the girls went over the bridge. That day the bridge was extra slippery but they had to get their frisbee out of the bush.

After some comotion on the bridge, they finally got in to the next field. The girsl looked up, right in front of them was a hughe and scary castle where a young beautiful Princess lived. The two girls saw a shadow by the castle. It was getting bigger and bigger and bigger.

Finally Rachel plucked up the courage to speak. “What is that because it’s got to be old?”

“That’s an old ogre” said Rebecca

The princess was gorgeous. She had a pink silk dress on with a silver tiara. The girls kept looking for the frisbee. It had been raining and water was dripping in to their hair. Suddenly the ogre charged towards the princess.

Rachel found the frisbee.

“Not at a time like this”

“Throw the frisbee!”

The frisbee hit the ogre and he fell to the ground.

“Are you ok?”

“Yes! Just had a little scare”

“OK. Bye”

And they all lived happily ever after.
