Kerry and the Imp |
One day, 25 years ago, there lived a girl named Kerry. Kerry had long blonde hair and pale blue eyes. Kerry loved pixies and fairies. One summer’s day Kerry was bored, so she decided to take a walk. Off she set, down the road and over the bridge. She came across a beautiful lake. She saw an Imp disappearing slowly into the lake, she slid in too. At that very moment a water god shot out of the water, when it touched the floor it became an Imp. It screeched in a high pitched voice, “Why do you enter my river? For, if you come back two more times I will curse you.’ She ran back home but didn’t tell anyone about what she had seen…………….. Six years later, Kerry was moving out to live with her boyfriend, they went to the river to have a picnic. As they were eating Kerry saw an Imp, she followed it, it led her to a river, she dipped her foot in … as quick as a flash the godess shot out of the water, it landed and screeched, ‘You have come to my river again, come back one more time and I will curse you.’ Kerry went home, after that and she swore to never go back to the river again. A lot of years had passed and she was now 34 she had children and she was so happy she had every thing a girl could want. One day they went to visit Kerry’s mum and dad in Switzerland so they could go and ski there. They were on there way to the airport and they came across a lake, they were very hot so they decided to go and have a swim. As Kerry put her foot in she was sucked to the under world of the water and tried to swim to the surface but she could not go, the current was pushing her down in to a deep dark hole. There sitting on a sea blue silk bed looking angrily at Kerry was the water god. ‘Now your punishment. You will be slave for me. Ha! Ha! I love doing this. |

So many years passed and Kerry was so unhappy she was wondering where her family was and how they were coping, so Kerry went to ask the water god if she could return home. The water god was lying peacefully on the sea bed fast asleep. She had a key hooked onto her belt, Kerry looked at the key, she thought, ‘maybe that is the key that will blast the hole open.’ She snuck up to the Water god and unhooked the key then she crept to the hole and shoved the key into it. The hole blasted open. Kerry rose to the surface and pulled herself out of the water. Her family were there crying, there were also police and ambulances’, Kerry was checked and she was fine. Her family were so happy to see her and from that day on Kerry never went near a lake again. |
